Regulation 115 of the Coal Mining Safety and Health Regulations 2001  (Qld) states: 

Explosives for use, or used, at a surface mine must be stored, used and disposed of under AS 2187 ‘Explosives—Storage, transport and use’.

s73(1) of the Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Regulation 2001 states:

The site senior executive must ensure the disposal of explosives on the surface of the mine complies with AS 2187.
